A devious and addictive puzzler

This was one of the few games I wasnt able to put down until I finished it. The puzzles are devious and at times seem impossible. Yet as you continue to play you unconsciously begin to see how you need to connect the dots. There is a good balance between getting stuck on a board and reaching the "a-ha" moment that allows you to solve it. The game is structured so that if a board becomes too hard, you can skip it and come back to it later with a fresh mind. It seems like a minor point, but it greatly enhances the playability of the game. The art direction is top notch and is a joy to look at. If you like logic puzzles then I think you will really enjoy this game. Highly recommended.

Great game

Love these types of puzzle games. I wish I could save progress when exiting, but overall well done. Creative and nice interaction.

So close to finishing!

I have only 63, 82, and 84 left to go before I finish the game. Win it? Nah, Ive already won! The prize was in the playing. So rarely fo I find a game like Colorbind that enthralls me so, and even rarer when finishing is so close it is palpable. Colorbind is the perfect game because throughout its 84 levels, it has been constantly challenging and fun, yet I have been able to progress at a sufficient pace to keep my interest. The simplicity of rules and game structure make this accessible to many players without sacrificing anything. Finally, all this is accomplished without relying on a clock. There should be a universal ban on time-bound games in my opinion, because the constantly running timer does nothing more than turn a hobby into a stressor.

Maddeningly Addictive!

This is a great little puzzle game that will have your brain working overtime for hours. It is a challenge to complete all 84 levels - some of the levels in the easy and medium categories were harder than some of those in the harder category. Overall a great mind game that will have you dreaming of ribbons and dots!

Decent iPod game becomes great iPad game

I bought Colorbind because I love Monospace, by the same author, and thought this too might be reasonably diverting, albeit not to the same degree as the other. Put Colorbind in 2x iPad mode and put it on a table with other puzzle-minded friends, and soon theyll be "helping" you, then drawing ribbons on the screen themselves, humorously berating each other over bad solutions and dead ends, and celebrating every Easy victory. For extra fun, choose friends who are bad at the game, and be bad at it yourself. Some things I would like to see change: 1. Only bug weve seen so far is that you cant grab a ribbon whose terminus currently lies under another. 2. Frequently, two players would try to draw separate ribbons at the same time; this does not work. It would be nice to only count double-tap in the same place and to let more than one ribbon be drawn at the same time. 3. A little more time to observe the final result. It became part of our strategy to seek aesthetically pleasing solutions, as aesthete is more likely to yield a correct solution, but theres no time to see your final result once youve finished. You might say that you can stop just before the final dot, but once someone at the table sees the solution, theres no stopping for such considerations. 4. Not at all necessary, since the graphics at 2x are perfectly acceptable, but an iPad version would be nice, if only to emphasize the qualities of the game at the bigger screen size.

Very fun game!

Colorbind is really well done, and seems very polished and problem free. Some people were complaining about it saving your progress though. I have no idea what theyre complaining about... It saves your completed levels and the levels arent long enough to have to stop halfway through or be frustrated if you have to start over. I have zero complaints, although new levels are ALWAYS welcome!

Really great!

I keep coming back to this game, it is a perfect fit for the iPhone. If only the menus transitioned a little faster, or the game supported fast app switching, that would make it perfect for when I only have a few minutes to play.

Super fun

If you are not hook already from the free verse than this app is to good for you. Great game, challenging achievements, and cool pattern. You have to have this app.

Amazing

This was one of my very first paid games, and one of the best. The graphics, although simple, are so beautiful. Good job guys. Definitely try lite version of this game.

This is the best puzzle game on the iPhone extremely fun and addictive so hard to put down 5 STARS!

Amazing Game

I loved playing Colorbind. Its an innovative and original puzzler with amazing style. I played this game the whole way through and unlocked all the achievements. Some of the puzzles can be quite challenging, but I was never completely frustrated. A wonderful game that is really fun to play!

Awesome.

Maybe an iPad version too?

Very Addicting

My love of this game grew slowly. But now I cant put it down. Hands down my new favorite game.

Fantastic game

This is easily my favorite iphone game, one which I cant imagine on any other platform, and one which I played to enjoy rather than waste time. At times it reminded me of Picross in that Id look forward to seeing the finished pattern, even in the less challenging levels. Some of the hard levels truly were challenging (especially #78, which took me an embarrassing amount of tries to figure out!) and I hope more levels will be added in the future. But even if not, I cant think of a better way to spend $2 in the App Store.

Amazing Puzzle!

This application is a must have for anyone who enjoys puzzles!

Wtb more please

Either add some more levels or make colorbind 2. Too great a game to give up on.

Almost a 5 star

After returning to the apps description for the "rules" I found this game fun. These "rules" need to be covered in the tutorial with illustrations. I deducted 1 star from my rating for the time And frustration before finding the "rules".

Wonderful Puzzle Game

This is a great puzzle game. I really love the aesthetic and the simplicity. But the game is hard. In the end, I only needed help for 1 of the 84 puzzles. Dang you, puzzle 82! Also, some game center support would be nice.
